In his words, 'It is too early to talk about candidacies, I will close my mouth, I fully support Morena, the Fourth Transformation, and my great president Claudia Sheinbaum. I am young and can wait until 2033, and with this, I close the chapter.'
These statements come after Salgado Macedonio questioned the restrictions established by Morena last weekend to prevent the immediate reelection of relatives of rulers. Despite arguing that the Constitution guarantees all citizens the right to seek an elected office, the senator has decided to align with the party's stance and avoid a confrontation with the national leadership and President Sheinbaum, who has set clear rules regarding candidate selection.
