Oliver Chavarría, a senior official at SENASICA, was robbed of 2 million pesos as thieves deceived his housekeeper into handing over cash. The incident is under investigation.

Oliver Chavarría Íñiguez, general director of Administration and IT of the National Service of Health, Safety and Quality of Food (Senasica), was a victim of a robbery at his home in Tlalpan, where unknown individuals took around two million pesos in cash. According to reports from journalist Antonio Nieto, the thieves managed to deceive Chavarría's domestic employee, who handed over the money after being manipulated by the criminals.

In his professional career, Chavarría has stood out for holding a master's degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, as well as being a specialist in the Prevention and Prosecution of Operations with Illicit Origin Resources from the National Institute of Penal Sciences.

In his experience as a public official, he has worked in various areas such as the Undersecretary of Food and Competitiveness, Undersecretary of Agriculture, and the General Directorate of Rural Development of the Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development (Sader). He has also held positions as a coordinator of Market Research at the Mexican Institute of Social Security and has collaborated with the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture.

Additionally, at Senasica, Chavarría has served as the director of Material Resources and General Services.
