Luis "N", known as 'The Rabbit', alleged leader of the criminal organization 'Union 300' or 'The 300', was detained by agents of the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) in his underwear. The arrest marked the end of a criminal career in which he led a violent group dedicated to dispossession, extortion, theft, and assaults in the State of Mexico and Mexico City.
According to investigations, 'The Rabbit' and his gang are involved in crimes such as extortion of transporters, merchants, and entrepreneurs, as well as dispossession of properties, damage to private properties, and facilitating the escape of criminals detained by various police forces.
The fall of this criminal leader, which occurred unusually as he was arrested in underwear, underscores the idea that even those who believe they are untouchable can end up behind bars. The FGJEM has reported that 'The Rabbit' has outstanding arrest warrants for homicide and extortion, and he is suspected of having connections with current and former municipal authorities from municipalities such as Ecatepec and Cuautitlán.
The organization 'The 300' has been implicated in blockades on state and federal roads, using its members and affiliated groups, such as the 'Little Rabbits', to pressure authorities and hinder operations against them. After his arrest, 'The Rabbit' was taken to the State of Mexico, where he was examined at the facilities of the state Attorney General's Office and then entered a state prison at the disposal of the Judicial Authority to determine his legal situation.
