The Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) has pointed to the government of Jalisco for the discovery of a clandestine crematorium in Teuchitlán. The PRI leader mentioned former governor Enrique Alfaro and current governor Pablo Lemus, criticizing the presence of the crematorium under the administration of the Citizen Movement.
"What needs to be investigated first is how, right under the nose of the Citizen Movement government, both past and present, the crematorium was operating. Where is Alfaro, where is Jorge Álvarez Máynez, where is Dante Delgado?" expressed the PRI senator. He also condemned the violence in Mexico and announced the filing of complaints against the "narcopoliticians of Morena," mentioning Rubén Rocha and Américo Villarreal, governors of Sinaloa and Tamaulipas respectively.
For its part, the National Action Party (PAN) joined in the criticisms, comparing the Teuchitlán crematorium to a Nazi concentration camp. Ricardo Anaya, coordinator of the PAN bench, described the discovery as horrific and emphasized the severity of the crime, pointing to the responsibility of the federal government in the fight against organized crime.
In the Senate of the Republic, the opposition also condemned the discovery of the clandestine crematorium in Jalisco, equating it to Nazism. PRI senator Alejandro Moreno criticized the attitude of the Morenistas, who were participating in a political event in the Zócalo of Mexico City while the existence of the crematorium in Jalisco was being revealed. Moreno described the attitude of the Morena representatives as cynical and corrupt, lacking commitment to the people and a humanistic vision.
In the context of this disturbing discovery, various political parties have expressed their outrage and called for investigations into this case and for strong actions to be taken against organized crime.
