Aleska Gènesis Released Again After Arrest in Mexico

On the night of March 10, the news went viral about the arrest of Aleska Génesis, who, upon leaving 'La Casa de los Famosos All Stars', was intercepted by the authorities of the State of Mexico and transferred to the Santa Martha women's prison, having first passed through the medical examiner. The detention was made public by journalist Carlos Jiménez, specializing in crime news, through his social media, with images and videos that became a trend.

Aleska was prohibited from leaving Mexico and had to comply with the indicated legal protocols. Javier Ceriani stated that the Venezuelan model knew she was wanted by Interpol and that she would be detained upon stepping into Mexico. Despite being linked to the judicial process for theft, a judge ordered Aleska to be released, imposing measures such as surrendering her passport, not leaving the country, and signing periodically.

After Aleska's sister reported her illegal detention, the judge in charge of the case again ordered the model's release. Although she was linked to the judicial process for theft, she was allowed to take it in freedom with the aforementioned restrictions. The decision generated divergent opinions online: while some celebrated her release, others believed she should remain in prison longer.
