In the context of the extraordinary electoral process 2024-2025 for the election of various positions in the Federal Judiciary, the National Electoral Institute (INE) assured that the integration of citizens in the sectional polling station boards is guaranteed.
As of March 16, one million 565 thousand 877 individuals have been trained, surpassing the requirement of one million 555 thousand 224 citizens. Training for the election continues.
With the aim of setting up 84 thousand 204 Polling Station Boards on June 1, the INE established the goal of reaching 13 million 233 thousand 552 citizens selected by lottery, based on birth months of February and May, between February 9 and March 31.
To date, 21 thousand 340 Electoral Trainers and Assistants (CAE) have visited 12 million 788 thousand 387 people, achieving 96.63 % of the goal. Out of the total contacted individuals, five million 480 thousand 126 have been personally notified to receive training on their role in the electoral day.
Of these, one million 578 thousand 480 have already been trained in the first stage of the process, which includes raising awareness about the lottery procedure, the importance of citizen participation, and the development of the electoral day.
With 15 days remaining to conclude the first stage of training, the INE reiterated its commitment to organizing the elections and highlighted the support from citizens in this process. The second stage, in which polling officials will be officially designated, will commence after the completion of this preparatory phase.
