Former Nuevo León Governor Jaime Rodríguez Calderón, known as 'El Bronco', has been the subject of a complaint filed by his ex-wife, Adalina Dávalos Martínez. In the legal filing, she accuses him of alleged acts of physical and psychological violence, as well as death threats against her and their daughters. According to the plaintiff, during a family meeting, the former governor, who was consuming alcoholic beverages with his current partner Ana Reyes, allegedly grabbed one of his daughters and verbally assaulted another minor. Following the incident, the complainant returned to her home in García, where she reportedly received threatening calls and messages from the former politician. She also stated that Rodríguez Calderon, accompanied by armed bodyguards, attempted to force his way into the residence. The ex-wife of 'El Bronco' requested protection measures for herself, her children, and her sister, citing fears for her physical and financial security, and affirmed that she will provide the authorities with videos recorded during the incident. This comes as the former state governor has intensified his campaign by appearing on local media and digital interviews, where he even hinted that he will 'return tougher'.
