The leader of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), Francisco Cienfuegos, stated that his party remains strong and united, but admitted it has a lot of work ahead. He emphasized that the PRI is currently governing in coalition with the National Action Party (PAN), and this coalition, he said, will continue until 2027, as decided by the public of Nuevo León. Cienfuegos added that the coalition is functioning at the legislative level, in municipalities, and in the capital. He also commented on the work of Governor Samuel García, noting that everyone should focus on their own job, and presumably, the governor is very busy with his own work. However, he acknowledged that the PRI has a great responsibility to the people of Nuevo León.
