The Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) reported on the formal prosecution of María Fernanda “N” and Brandon Jonathan “N” for their alleged participation in the crimes of enforced disappearance and homicide, committed against 43-year-old priest Ernesto Baltazar Hernández Vilchis. According to the statement issued by the FGJEM, the criminal acts occurred on October 29 at the home of Brandon Jonathan, located in the Unidad Habitacional Morelos, Third Section, in the municipality of Tultitlán. There, Fátima Isabel “N” and Brandon Jonathan “N” lived with the priest. Subsequently, both took the priest to Brandon's apartment, where they drugged him with clonazepam to rob him and then beat him to death. Subsequently, the prosecution adds that María Fernanda “N”, Brandon Jonathan's romantic partner, arrived at the home. “The three probable participants carried out acts to hide the body of the deceased, for which they used blankets and bags that they tied to a chair to finally transport the body to the municipality of Nextlalpan, where on November 30 they abandoned it in a black water river.” The Prosecutor's Office reported that investigative actions were carried out at the property in Unidad Habitacional Morelos, finding “clothing of the victim, personal belongings, a priest's stole, as well as sharp and blunt objects, as well as blood traces observed through the 'blue star' test.” For the same facts, the Prosecutor's Office already served an arrest warrant on November 14 against Fátima Isabel “N”, who is also being investigated for the crime of enforced disappearance by private individuals. The coexistence lasted for several hours, during which the three consumed alcoholic beverages and narcotics, according to the Mexican state prosecutor. At one point during the night, Brandon “N” allegedly attacked Ernesto Baltazar with an object, causing injuries that led to his death, according to the statement. According to Proceso, Fátima worked as an escort and met the priest in a hotel.
