Sheinbaum's reaction comes amid tensions over the measures announced by Washington, which include tariffs on nations trading oil with Havana. This has led the Mexican government to send a first shipment of humanitarian aid to the island over the weekend, mainly consisting of food. Sheinbaum confirmed that the support will continue. 'The people of Mexico are always in solidarity,' she said.
