Five years ago, Nuevo León faced a complex security situation. With the World Cup approaching, the situation is beginning to change. The World Cup represents a huge challenge but also a great opportunity. We want everyone who comes to Nuevo León to feel safe, well-cared for, and eager to return. Currently, numerous infrastructure projects are underway in the state. Significant progress has been made in security. There were significant backlogs in both equipment and strategy. Today, we are talking about a force that is a national benchmark. This is no coincidence; it is the result of a well-designed and executed strategy. The significant reduction in high-impact crimes, homicides, and femicides is direct proof of this. The Secretary of Government emphasizes that security is never a fully resolved issue; one cannot let their guard down. Coordination with the federal government plays a crucial role. The key to success is the collaboration of all government levels without political bias. Daily working meetings are held, information is reviewed, and joint decisions are made. We have established a specific task force for the World Cup, involving all relevant departments: security, health, civil protection, and mobility. We are also working on training, protocols, tourist assistance, and implementing technology for emergency response in multiple languages. In the political arena, potential candidates for the governorship are already being discussed. The Secretary of Government speaks candidly: he acknowledges his aspiration to become governor. He also defends the model of the Citizen Movement party. There is no risk of division within the party; on the contrary, the movement is strengthened by valuable members. Beyond politics, the text touches on the Secretary's personal story: his love for animals. He speaks of his involvement in rescuing the bear Tadeo and establishing a horse sanctuary. Tadeo's case was special as the animal was on the brink of death. Its transformation from a weakened creature to a strong animal is priceless. It is a story of resilience, struggle, and perseverance. His horse rescue project is something very personal and close to his heart. He grew up with a deep connection to nature and animals, which shaped him. He believes that animal welfare is a collective responsibility. He also stresses the importance of continuity in current policies, especially in infrastructure, mobility, and social protection. Major projects are not completed in a single term. To consolidate progress, it is essential for subsequent governments to continue these policies. Childhood is an absolute priority. One cannot speak of development without placing children at the center. The work done by the DIF (System for the Development of Family Well-being) has also been very important, as has the creation of specialized spaces to assist victims of violence or vulnerable groups.
