Temporary Suspension of Electoral Modules in Mexico

Activities will resume on Monday, April 6, at their usual times. What procedures will be affected? During this period, services for voter registration, data updates, and replacement of the voting credential will remain suspended. The National Electoral Institute (INE) announced the temporary suspension of activities at Citizen Attention Modules (MAC) nationwide, which will affect those who had planned to carry out procedures related to the voting credential. According to the electoral body, the closure will begin at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 1, and will apply to all of the more than 840 modules installed nationwide. Likewise, the online appointment system will not schedule appointments for those days. INE recommended that citizens take precautions, arrive on time for previously scheduled appointments before the closure, and check service availability through its official channels. What to do if you need assistance? People who need to carry out any procedures will have to wait for activities to resume or stay informed through the institute's official portal and the INETEL telephone system. This suspension corresponds to the official holiday calendars, so it is a scheduled measure that will temporarily affect service nationwide.
