During a media appearance, Inclán mentioned: 'We’re going to have a housewife for six years.' This comment was considered part of the macho culture and generated controversy.
In response to this situation, Sheinbaum, in a conference, defended her role as president, grandmother, mother, and housewife, expressing that she was proud of all her facets. Inclán offered apologies, which were accepted by Sheinbaum; however, multiple entertainment celebrities, such as Liliana Arriaga 'La Chupitos' and Eugenio Derbez, debated the humor used and its relevance in today's society.
In a meeting with the media, César Bono expressed his pride in Sheinbaum's academic background, highlighting her bachelor's degree in Physics, master's, and doctorate in Energy Engineering. Bono positively evaluated the president's academic preparation and defended her against criticisms.
