Influencer Reflects on Enrique Guzmán's Homophobia

Six years ago, the influencer Quique Galdeano was rejected by Enrique Guzmán in an interview when he revealed his homosexuality. In a recent conversation with Shanik Berman, Galdeano recalled the moment when Guzmán decided to end the interview after learning about his sexual preferences. Despite this, Galdeano mentioned that he does not seek to cancel the father of Alejandra Guzmán, as he understands that Guzmán's homophobia comes from another generation.

At that time, the news went viral and was featured on entertainment shows like 'Ventaneando'. This led to Quique's father learning about his sexual orientation. The experience of being rejected by Guzmán during an interview helped Galdeano decide to come out to his father, who, despite having lived apart from him, came to his apartment to express his love after finding out.

Enrique Guzmán, who has been involved in various controversies in recent years, saw his reputation significantly damaged after allegations of sexual abuse by his granddaughter Frida Sofía. The rejection of Quique Galdeano adds to the list of controversies in which the recognized Mexican performer has been embroiled.

The influencer, recalling the episode, explained how, even though his mother had known about his homosexuality for two years, he still had not come out to his father. His father's reaction upon finding out, and his visit to his apartment as a gesture of love and acceptance, marked a turning point in their relationship.
