For almost the entire six-year term starting in November 2020, the iconic location at Chihuahua 216, in Roma Norte, was occupied by a dissenting group from Mario Delgado's leadership in Morena. To resolve this situation, Delgado Carrillo opted to rent and work in a controversial building located at Ejército Nacional 359 in the Granada neighborhood, in the Miguel Hidalgo mayoralty, paying around 800 thousand pesos monthly in rent, totaling almost 10 million annually.
What happened to the building at Chihuahua 216, in Roma Norte, where former president López Obrador had his transition house? From there, the current head of the SEP operated, discreetly requesting the concealment of the lease contract in the law, generating a debate about whether he had acquired the property. The new national leadership of Morena, led by Luisa María Alcalde, decided not to ratify the contract at Ejército Nacional 359, moving their operations to Liverpool 3 in the Juárez neighborhood, marking a distance from Mario Delgado.
Amid accusations of unjustified dismissals and payment delays, the property in the Juárez neighborhood, the location of the new headquarters, valued at almost 49 million pesos, was acquired during the administration of the then-secretary with presidential functions in the party, Yeidckol Polevnsky. Under the direction of Alcalde Luján, Carolina Rangel, and Andy López Beltrán, the Evaluative Committees are being formed for the election of almost 850 districts and circuits of the Judiciary, with a deadline until October 31 for their designation, as five members will be elected by each of the Executive and Judicial branches.
