
A prisoner identified as Javier Bravo, nicknamed "El Yuca", was shot dead outside his home in the Olivar del Conde Second Section neighborhood, moments after signing his parole letter.
Bravo had contacted his mother to inform her that he was in Xochimilco before he was attacked. During the incident, both he and his assailants were riding motorcycles. Neighbors in the area alerted authorities about the gunfire that ended Bravo's life.
Journalist Antonio Nieto revealed that Javier Bravo had been incarcerated three previous times and had received threats that ultimately culminated in his murder. Bravo's last words before being attacked were: "Mom, I'm in Xochimilco."
The attack was carried out by individuals whose identities have yet to be confirmed, who fled the scene on the same motorcycle they arrived on. Information about the crime spread through social media, highlighting the unfortunate situation in which Bravo found himself after regaining his parole.
