The governor of Morelos, Margarita González Saravia, has expressed her opinion about the aspirations of her husband, José del Carmen Enríquez Rosado, to lead the Morena party in the state. During the morning press conference, González Saravia addressed the situation generated by her husband's recent allegations, in which he mentions pressures from certain party members on councilors to support Tadeo Nava.
In this context, the governor emphasized the need to open the debate within the party, highlighting that every member must actively participate in the decisions. Regarding the possibility of a family member occupying the position of party president, González Saravia was clear in stating that she does not wish for that: "I would not like a family member of mine to be president of the party."
Additionally, the governor recalled past situations where she opposed the appointment of candidates or party presidents who had family ties with prominent political figures in the state. This supports her stance on the importance of avoiding family influence in party leadership positions, underscoring transparency and autonomy as fundamental values today.
It is worth noting that Tadeo Nava, who was one of Margarita González Saravia's main collaborators during the electoral campaign in the eastern zone of Morelos, is considered a trusted figure by the governor.
