The statements of President Claudia Sheinbaum continue to generate controversy after she referred to businessman Claudio X. González as a "toxic junior" and "daddy's boy" in the morning press conference on October 25. In response to these remarks, rapper Bitrio Smoke released a video recounting other "juniors" linked to the 4T.
In the video, Bitrio Smoke mentioned people like "Andy" López Beltrán, son of former president Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the son of Guadalupe Taddei, advisor to the National Electoral Institute, and the son of Lenia Batres, known as "the people's minister," whose son works in the Government without completing his law degree.
In one of his rhymes, Bitrio Smoke criticizes the fact that these young people have certain privileges while pretending to be leftists, questioning their true commitment to the causes they claim to support. The TikToker has gained notoriety during the recent elections and has unintentionally become a counterweight against the official propaganda of Morena.
One of the rap segments mentions: "They have many privileges to be so leftist and their son little talent to claim to be an artist; some painted balls won’t make him an environmentalist." Bitrio Smoke also refers to the lack of preparation of some of these "juniors" to fulfill important roles in the Government.
At another moment in the video, the rapper alludes to a situation involving the challenge of a ruling and ends his creation by sending greetings to "the resistance." His criticisms have caused a stir on social media and have sparked debate over the privileges and responsibilities of the children of public figures in Mexico's political life.
