Clara Brugada, head of Government, announced the construction of a new Cable Car line in Álvaro Obregón, improving mobility in the area. During the 'House by House' day, more than 5,000 citizen requests were addressed, prioritizing safety and basic services.


New Cable Car Line in Álvaro Obregón

Clara Brugada, head of Government, attended 5,156 citizen requests during the fourth session of the "Government House by House" program in Barrio Norte. Accompanied by her cabinet, Brugada personally visited homes to address requests on issues such as pruning, drainage, security, potholes, and lighting. The leader emphasized the importance of listening to the community's needs and announced that executive project work will soon begin in the area.

During the session, Brugada informed about the construction of five new Cablebus lines in Tlalpan, Álvaro Obregón, Cuajimalpa, Magdalena Contreras, and Milpa Alta-Xochimilco. Additionally, the upcoming bidding for the first Utopía in Álvaro Obregón was announced, with plans to build a total of six for the benefit of citizens. The Secretary of Sobse, Raúl Basulto, highlighted the importance of these projects for the well-being of the population.

Brugada also pointed out the implementation of increased lighting in Barrio Norte and the "Bachetón" program to address pothole issues in the area. On the other hand, the bidding for a new Cablebus line in Álvaro Obregón is being prepared, which will connect the upper part of the district with Cuajimalpa and Magdalena Contreras. The head of Government mentioned that these projects aim to improve mobility and provide accessible transportation to those who need it most in elevated and remote areas.

"This City Government is conquering the skies, because we already have three Cablebuses and we are going to build five new Cablebus lines," Brugada emphasized. The government leader stressed the importance of closeness to the population and addressing their needs as a new way of governing.
