Jesús Nava, who recently left the Citizen Movement to join Morena, has generated diverse reactions within the political parties involved. For the emecista, this is not the first time Nava has changed political affiliation, and he compares it to a marriage that ends and quickly begins another. According to him, it is easy to predict what will happen in Nava's political future.
On the other hand, the members of the Citizen Movement do not seem sad or outraged by Nava's departure. In fact, they consider it a reason for gratitude, as they now have people who do respect the party's ethical code. Miguel Ángel Flores, coordinator of the Legislative Group of MC, mentioned that Nava's exit is due to his failure to meet the ethical principles of the organization.
According to Flores, Nava's departure represents a gain for the Citizen Movement, as they now have members committed to the party's values. In this sense, they feel more comfortable and at ease without someone who is not aligned with their principles. For Flores, it is a release of "burdens" that is let go without external pressures, which improves the atmosphere within the organization.
