
In the Isthmus of Tehuantepec region, Governor Salomón Jara Cruz presented his Second Government Report, highlighting the work done during the Oaxacan Spring. This event emphasized support for various sectors of the population and the achievements reached in different areas.
Numerous actions were carried out, such as the creation of 26 nurseries in the eight regions of the state with more than 12 million plants produced, benefiting 448 municipalities. Additionally, schools were equipped with 183 million pesos, the Young Card program was implemented, and resources were allocated to the My First Job program.
In the area of health, 534 million pesos were invested in medications and supplies, more than 150,000 people were attended through Territorial Brigades, and improvements were made in health centers and hospitals. Furthermore, multiple air services and medical transfers were carried out to ensure care for citizens.
Regarding support for women, 201 million pesos were allocated to heads of families, assistance was provided to victims of gender violence, and psychological and legal support programs were offered. The recovery and dignification of public spaces were highlighted, such as the inauguration of the Oaxacan Spring Park and the restoration of monuments in municipalities.
Another area addressed was support for the countryside, with an investment of 705 million pesos, the creation of community seed banks, and the establishment of corn in 25,000 hectares. Additionally, strategies were implemented to boost tourism, promote employment, and support youth.
In the framework of accountability, the commitment to the transformation of the state, the recovery of governance and social stability, as well as the fight against corruption, was emphasized. The government of Oaxaca has demonstrated efficient management of public resources and a focus on sustainable and comprehensive development of the state.
