The start of the 2025 Clausura Tournament for Cruz Azul has turned into a surprising roller coaster, with the sudden departure of Martín Anslemi and the temporary assumption of Vicente Sánchez to the team's bench. Despite starting with a draw against Puebla, the situation took a positive turn with the first victory against Necaxa in the double matchday.
After this triumph, the management decided to temporarily halt the search for a new coach to give Sánchez the opportunity to continue working.
