The bullfighter Bruno Aloi is preparing to face the Plaza México again, one of the most iconic venues of his career. In an exclusive interview with Publimetro, the novice shared his emotions and expectations for the future of bullfighting, especially among young people.
Aloi, a young Mexican bullfighter, debuted at Plaza México in August of last year, a moment filled with meaning for him. For Bruno, this place is special as he grew up watching great figures of bullfighting from a young age. "It's the arena I went to with my grandfather and my parents since I was little. I never imagined that I would be there dressed in lights, fulfilling that dream that finally came true," revealed the bullfighter with emotion.
In his first presentation at Plaza México, Aloi experienced a mix of intense emotions ranging from excitement to nervousness. Despite the nerves, he felt excited about the opportunity to be in front of his people. "I was nervous, but also very excited," confessed the young bullfighter.
When facing his first bull, Bruno described the experience as an exam for which he had prepared hard. Noticing a significant increase in the presence of young people in the arenas, Aloi expressed excitement for the future of bullfighting and the bullfighting fanbase. "I know people have many expectations, but I'm just going to enjoy the moment," he stated.
Preparing to return to Plaza México in a mano a mano bullfight, Aloi reflected on his growth as a bullfighter in the past season and his motivation for the new bullfighting year.
