This medal represents the third achievement for the Mexican skater this season, after his success at the NRW Trophy and the Bavarian Open. These accomplishments position Carrillo as one of the favorites to qualify for the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
With a total score of 205.54 points, Carrillo demonstrated an excellent performance in both programs, scoring 65.04 points in the short program and 140.50 in the free program. After his participation, the skater expressed his satisfaction: "I am very happy with the result. On Friday I made some mistakes during the short program, but today I tried to enjoy more and not just focus on the technical elements."
