The Venezuelan right-handed pitcher Arnaldo Hernández has joined the bullpen of the Querétaro team for the 2025 season of the Mexican League of Baseball (LMB), which will begin on April 17. Hernández, who played in the 2024 season with the Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos in the LMB, achieved outstanding statistics with 16 saves, an ERA of 3.18, and 36 strikeouts in 34 innings pitched. The Querétaro team has been active in the transfer market, adding important reinforcements such as catcher Alejandro Flores and outfielder Eric Filia. These acquisitions aim to improve the team's performance and aspire to the playoffs in what will be their second participation in professional baseball. During the winter, Arnaldo Hernández reinforced the Cardenales de Lara in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), achieving eight saves in eight opportunities and an astonishing ERA of 0.71. His contribution was crucial for the Venezuelan championship. It is noteworthy that Arnaldo Hernández has also represented Venezuela in the Caribbean Series of 2023, 2024, and 2025, demonstrating his value in the world of baseball.
