The community of wrestling and video game fans has expressed its surprise at the absence of two prominent names from lucha libre in Latin America, Penta El Zero Miedo and Stephanie Vaquer, in the upcoming video game WWE 2K25. Despite their growing popularity and relevance in WWE in recent months, both wrestlers have not been included in the official roster of available superstars since the game's launch.
The absence of Penta El Zero Miedo has generated special attention given his prominent role in WWE since his debut. However, the reason for his exclusion may be related to the timing of his joining the company. According to unofficial information, the roster for WWE 2K25 is defined several weeks before the official announcement of the game, which took place on January 6, 2025, during the debut of Raw on Netflix with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. Unfortunately, Penta El Zero Miedo made his debut on the main WWE roster a week after this date, which may have prevented his inclusion in the initial version of the game.
Stephanie Vaquer's situation is similar; the Chilean wrestler, current North American champion of NXT, also was not part of the initial roster despite her debut in NXT in October 2024. This absence is a disappointment for fans of the WWE women's division, considering that Vaquer is one of the most talented and charismatic wrestlers in the company.
Although initially disappointed, there is still a possibility that both Penta and Stephanie Vaquer could be added to the WWE 2K25 roster as downloadable content (DLC) in the future, although there is no official confirmation on this matter. In the meantime, wrestling and video game fans will have to settle for community creations if they want to play with Penta El Zero Miedo and Stephanie Vaquer in WWE 2K25.
