New Designs of Mexico's Jerseys Leaked

The website Footy Headlines recently shared details about the jerseys that Mexico could wear in the 2026 World Cup. The away kit has been leaked and would be black with gold details on the sleeves, shoulders, and chest, in addition to featuring a pattern inspired by mariachi suits.

It is expected that the Mexican Football Federation and Adidas will make the official announcement of the jerseys between October and November 2025. Some details of what the home kit for the World Cup would look like have already been revealed, with green as the main color and three vertical stripes in the center in green, red, and white, alluding to the Mexican flag.

This design of the home jersey would be a tribute to the uniform used by Mexico in the 1978 World Cup in Argentina, where Levi's dressed the team in a white shirt with green and red stripes on the chest. Despite being a nostalgic design, that participation does not bring good memories to the Tricolor, as they finished in last place after losing their group stage matches.

On the other hand, the design of Mexico's away jersey for the 2026 World Cup has not yet been revealed, but these leaks are generating excitement among fans. With Mexico being one of the host countries for the competition, the design of the jerseys is a relevant topic, especially for the team in front of its supporters.
