Javier Aguirre Prepares for Nations League Semifinal

The coach of the Mexican National Team, Javier Aguirre, is preparing to face the semifinals of the Nations League and is tasked with choosing the ideal starters for this commitment. One of the main questions revolves around who will be responsible for scoring goals for the Tricolor, considering the good form that Raúl Jiménez and Santiago Giménez are in during European competitions.

According to information provided by TUDN journalist, Gibran Araige, Aguirre has decided to give the starting position to the Fulham striker. This decision has surprised Mexican fans who expected to see a striking duo in the national team. However, Aguirre would choose to maintain a single center forward with the prominence of Lobo de Tepeji.

Apparently, Aguirre's choice is based on the experience that the Fulham player has compared to the Cruz Azul striker, as he has played 109 matches with the national team, scoring 35 goals, 20 of them in knockout matches and official tournaments.

The next match for the Mexican National Team is scheduled for Thursday, March 20, following the report of players on the 16th of the same month. The Aztec team is preparing to face Canada in the semifinals of the Nations League at 20:30 Central Mexico Time. In case of a victory, they will play the final on Sunday, the 23rd at 19:30.
