Mexican driver Sergio Pérez made his first appearance with the Toro Rosso team in 2021, qualifying in 11th position at the Australian Grand Prix. In contrast, Liam Lawson, in 2025, achieved a milestone starting from 18th position after being disqualified in Q1.

After his departure from Red Bull for the current Formula 1 season, Pérez has yet to confirm if his retirement is definitive, leading to speculation about a possible return.
