The Mexican National Team is preparing to return to action in a crucial Nations League match after a long wait. The team led by El Vasco Aguirre will face a semifinal that raises high expectations, which is why the coach has decided to send his best lineup onto the field.
In the last press conference before the match at SoFi Stadium, Aguirre revealed some names that will be part of the starting lineup. "Luis Ángel Malagón will be there, I won't tell you about the Giménez, but Jesús Gallardo and Erik Lira will play," the coach stated.
The possible tactical formation suggests a 5-4-1 scheme, with Malagón in goal, Jesús Gallardo and Israel Reyes on the flanks, and Johan Vásquez, Ramón Juárez, and Erik Lira in the center of defense.
In midfield, Edson Álvarez will be accompanied by Luis Chávez, while Julián Quiñones and César Huerta will handle the offensive duties on the sides, leaving Raúl Jiménez as the spearhead.
Aguirre assured that the Mexican fans have not abandoned the team despite the criticisms and some signs of discontent in recent matches. "We need to put on a perfect match, Mexico is ready to beat Canada. People continue to support us and believe in their National Team, that is undeniable," highlighted the coach.
