In an exciting game that went into extra innings at Estadio Centenario in Villahermosa, the Conspirators of Querétaro defeated the Olmecs of Tabasco 2-1.

The Olmecs' starter, José Samayoa, shone by pitching five innings without allowing runs, while Fredy Quintero from the Conspirators kept the Tabasco offense in check. It was a matchup characterized by an intense pitching duel that kept both teams in the fight throughout the game.

The momentum shifted in favor of the locals in the third inning when Yamaico Navarro scored the run that gave them the lead. In a standout performance, the Cuban Félix achieved a historic hit by reaching his number 700 in the Mexican Baseball League during the first inning of the game.

The tie came in the eighth inning thanks to an infield hit by Kelvin Gutiérrez that allowed Yairo Muñoz to score for Querétaro. The game remained tight until the tenth inning, where Cuban outfielder Rusney Castillo ignited the crowd by hitting a solo home run that sealed the series in favor of the Querétaro team.

Despite a comeback attempt by the Olmecs in the bottom of the tenth inning, where they loaded the bases with one out, closer Arnaldo Hernández managed to control the situation by striking out Jasson Atondo and Félix Pérez, thus securing his fourth save of the season.

With this result, the Conspirators secured the series against the Olmecs. The third and final game between both teams is scheduled for this Thursday at 7:30 PM, with Andy Otero as the starter for Querétaro and Yoennis Yera defending the mound for Tabasco.
