At the Educational and Cultural Center 'Manuel Gómez Morín,' the flag ceremony for the state delegation of Querétaro for the National Olympics 2025 took place. The Secretary of Social Development of the State (SEDESOQ), led by Luis Nava, encouraged young athletes to proudly represent Querétaro and aspire to reach the highest point of the podium in the most important multi-sport event in the country for children and youth categories.

With more than 750 participating athletes in 40 sports disciplines, the Querétaro delegation aims to surpass the record of 254 medals obtained in the previous edition. The event will take place starting on May 16 at venues distributed throughout Tlaxcala, Jalisco, Colima, Yucatán, and Puebla.

During the ceremony, prominent athlete Iridia Salazar urged athletes to give their best: 'Champions, decide to be the best. No one can defeat a determined mind; no one can defeat a heart willing to do everything to achieve their dreams.'
