David Faitelson, a recognized sports journalist, has been the subject of criticism since his arrival at Televisa at the end of 2023. In the past, Faitelson had stated multiple times that he would never work for this television network. However, circumstances changed and he left ESPN to join TUDN, becoming one of the main signings along with the late Andrés Marín.
In a recent interview with Paola Rojas, Faitelson denied his past criticisms of América, a team he had accused of receiving referee assistance. Álvaro Morales, another well-known sports journalist, took the opportunity to criticize his former colleague and defend América, dismissing Faitelson's accusations as false. During the program Generación F, Morales mocked Faitelson's supposed inconsistency in changing his stance regarding the team.
It is relevant to mention that the relationship between Faitelson and Morales was not good when they were at ESPN. Morales revealed in an interview with Ricardo Peláez that Faitelson expressly asked the network's executives not to work with him on any program.
