The teams León, Puebla, Necaxa, and Mazatlán have the opportunity to achieve three victories that would allow them to climb in the tournament standings, getting closer to the Play In spots, especially León which could displace América or Chivas if they accumulate the remaining nine points and the other teams in the fight do not win.
The Apertura 2024 tournament is reaching its final stage and already has four eliminated teams. During the first 14 matchdays, the teams showed inconsistent performance, creating blocks of teams with similar possibilities of advancing. However, in the last matches, the difference in the level of play became more evident, leaving some clubs behind that no longer have options to qualify for the Play In.
The teams Pachuca, Santos Laguna, FC Juárez, and Querétaro are located in the last positions of the table and have been eliminated from the tournament as they have no chance of advancing. Although Mazatlán is in 14th place with only three points more than the eliminated teams, it is impossible for them to catch up to Atlas, the team in the last Play In position with 20 points.
With the closing of the regular season, the management of the eliminated teams begins to plan for the next tournament in hopes of having a better performance and leaving behind the Apertura 2024. Meanwhile, some clubs remain close in points, especially those located in positions 11, 12, 13, and 14, who can still fight for a place in the Play In.
