José Paradela, an Argentine midfielder who stood out at River Plate, is now in a crucial situation with Club Necaxa in Mexico. After playing thirteen matches in the Apertura 2024/2025 tournament with Necaxa, scoring two goals and providing three assists, Paradela is considered a key player in the team managed by Mexican coach Eduardo Fentanes.
Paradela experienced a successful phase at River Plate when Marcelo Gallardo was the coach; however, with the arrival of Martín Demichelis to the bench, he lost prominence and was relegated to the substitute bench. Despite having had a prominent role in River Plate's midfield, Paradela was unable to maintain his level and was loaned to Necaxa.
Club Necaxa has activated the obligation to purchase Paradela's pass for two million dollars, following the achievement of objectives set in his professional contract. This situation has led Paradela to consider his future at the Mexican club, as otherwise, he will become a free agent.
Despite his situation at Necaxa, Marcelo Gallardo has not included Paradela in his list of desired players for the upcoming transfer market at River Plate. Although a possible return of the midfielder to the Argentine institution is not ruled out, no conversations have been initiated regarding this at the moment. Paradela's transition from being an undisputed starter at River Plate to not having a spot in the starting eleven has been an unexpected turn in his career, prompting him to rethink his future in Mexican football.
