Miguel Alemán Serrano, a member of a family with an important political and business legacy in Mexico, has managed to stand out in a field quite different from that of his ancestors. At 20 years old, this young artist and music producer has already made a name for himself in the national and international music scene, backed by a public that has led him to perform on various renowned stages.
Son of Miguel Alemán Magnani, a businessman who founded Interjet, and Vanessa Serrano, a writer and businesswoman, Miguel is the great-grandson of former Mexican President Miguel Alemán Valdés, which adds extra weight to his last name in his country. Despite coming from a family dedicated to politics, business, and law, Miguel decided to pursue his passion for electronic music, distancing himself from family traditions.
His foray into music began in childhood, inspired by artists like Michael Jackson and Hardwell. His debut as a professional DJ took place in 2018, adopting the stage name Mike Martel, in honor of his paternal grandmother's last name. Since then, he has managed to consolidate his career, despite being affected by the pandemic in 2020, which delayed the release of his first single "Pull You Under."
Mike Martel has participated in various festivals both in Mexico and abroad, such as the Megaferia de Acapulco, Omnia Los Cabos, Dystopia Los Angeles, Vaivén 2022, and Corona Capital 2022. With his growing popularity and talent, he has managed to position himself in the electronic music scene, and one of the most recent milestones of his career will be his performance at the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Mexico 2025, one of the most important electronic music festivals in Mexico and Latin America. This event will take place on Sunday, February 23, at the Circuit Grounds stage at 3:00 PM, thus consolidating Mike Martel's rise in the music industry.
