On Thursday, October 24, in Guanajuato, a car bomb exploded near the Acámbaro public security building. Two individuals left the explosive device, which injured three police officers. Two of them had minor injuries and did not require hospitalization, while a woman suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The tranquility in Guanajuato was disturbed by this incident, which caused severe damage to the police personnel present in the Acámbaro Public Security building. The explosion occurred at 6:20 in the morning, and so far, no individuals related to the attack have been arrested. Authorities have deployed an operation with the participation of the National Guard, the army, and the police to find those responsible.

Fortunately, no civilians were reported injured by the car bomb explosion in Acámbaro. Local authorities confirmed that only three police officers were injured and that there were no damages to individuals outside the police force. In addition to the injuries sustained by the officers, there were reported material damages to the public security building, four nearby houses, and seven private vehicles.

The Acámbaro police reported: "Car bomb attack outside the Acámbaro public security building, with 3 injured police officers, one female who was seriously hospitalized and two males with superficial injuries who did not require transfer to any hospital, material damage to the building, 4 adjacent houses, and 7 civilian vehicles."
