
The governor of Aguascalientes, Tere Jiménez, along with executives from the American company Resideo, announced a significant investment of more than 99 million pesos to establish a corporate office in Aguascalientes. This office will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the company's clients, primarily from the United States and Canada.
Tere Jiménez emphasized that Aguascalientes offers ideal conditions for business growth, highlighting safety, air and land connectivity, as well as the training of young people through various universities. Additionally, she underscored the importance of diversifying the local economy, promoting strategic sectors such as information technology, semiconductors, clean energy, and electromobility.
Kirk Klopfenstein, Vice President of Customer Experience at Resideo, explained that the company focuses on creating technology and smart solutions to enhance security, comfort, and resource optimization in homes. Among the products they offer are thermostats, light switches, smoke detectors, and air purifiers.
The office that Resideo plans to establish in Aguascalientes will be located north of the city and will generate more than 150 jobs for highly qualified individuals. From these facilities, customer service will be provided, marketing strategies will be developed, and various services will be offered to the company's clients.
At the meeting held at the Government Palace, Esaú Garza de Vega, Secretary of Economic Development, Science, and Technology; Jorge Armando Andrade Serafín, Deputy Secretary of Investment and Development; Laurie Latil, Director of Customer Service and Product Support at Resideo; and Fernando Ramírez, Site Leader for San Luis Potosí - Aguascalientes, were also present.
