Aguascalientes Strengthens Anti-Corruption Efforts

The governor of Aguascalientes, Tere Jiménez, attended the presentation of the Seventh Activity Report of the Coordinating Committee of the State Anti-Corruption System of Aguascalientes. At this event, she highlighted that Aguascalientes is one of the entities with the best compliance in the use of federal resources, promoting transparency and accountability in public administration.

In her statements, Tere Jiménez emphasized the importance of strengthening the rule of law to increase competitiveness globally. She called for reinforcing teamwork so that integrity in public service becomes the norm, not the exception, as citizens deserve governments that provide solutions and guarantee access to justice. She also expressed her desire for Aguascalientes to be a place where peace, inclusion, and legality prevail.

For her part, Magdalena Verónica Rodríguez Castillo, president of the Coordinating Committee of the National Anti-Corruption System, praised Governor Tere Jiménez's commitment to advancing the anti-corruption agenda in Aguascalientes. She highlighted that the event not only served to account for the actions and goals achieved but also reaffirmed everyone’s commitment to integrity and transparency, even in adverse times.

During the presentation at the Morelos Theater, Salvador Vázquez Caudillo took an oath as the new president of the Citizen Participation Committee of the State Anti-Corruption System of Aguascalientes for the period 2025-2026.
