On Friday, October 25, a possible attempted femicide was reported in Apodaca, Nuevo León, against a teacher identified as Martha, 59 years old, outside the kindergarten where she worked. According to initial reports, at least two individuals in a white car carried out the attack as the teacher arrived at the children's facility.

Initial reports indicated that the attackers carried long guns during the assault on the teacher. A reporter present at the scene mentioned that they used both short and long guns to shoot at the woman.

The municipality of Apodaca in Nuevo León was shocked by the attempted femicide against the kindergarten teacher located on Chipre and Gran Bretaña streets, in the Nuevo Amanecer neighborhood. The police quickly mobilized to cordon off the area, and the 59-year-old teacher was taken to a hospital in the City of Monterrey.

The attackers, who are believed to have been traveling in a white vehicle, managed to escape after shooting at the teacher. Investigative agents arrived at the scene to investigate and try to apprehend Martha's assailants, the injured educator. The woman received two gunshot wounds, one to the buttock and another to the leg, and was taken to the hospital. So far, no information has been provided about her health status.
