Leticia Delgado Appointed as New Director in Mexico City

Leticia Delgado Carrillo has been appointed as the new Director General of Administration and Finance in Mexico City's Health Department. She has a rich political background and a degree in Business Administration.

Leticia Delgado has advanced her career at the Institute of Security and Social Services of State Workers (ISSSTE), holding positions related to internal control, while Mario has primarily developed his political trajectory in Mexico City.

Leticia Delgado was the head of the office at the ISSSTE Colima Delegational Cultural Center from 1994 to 1998, and also postal manager of Colima at the Mexican Postal Service. Subsequently, she held the General Administrative Direction at the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of Colima from 2017 to 2019.

During Ignacio Peralta Sánchez's administration, Mario Delgado's sister served as the Secretary of Health of Colima until 2022. In addition, she previously served as the Secretary of Health of Colima.

According to the organizational structure of the Ministry of Health, Leticia Delgado will be accompanied by Sergio Hernández Hernández as Director of Human Capital Administration; Alfredo de Jesús Padilla Uribe as Director of Material Resources, Supplies, and Services; Tania Hischel Núñez Serafín as Head of the Departmental Unit of Personnel Control; and Ulises García Castrellón as Head of the Departmental Unit of Accounting and Registration.

The new official from the capital, Leticia Delgado Carrillo, has a degree in Tourist Business Administration from the Technological Institute of Colima. In 2013, she was appointed Head of the Department of Social, Cultural, and Sports Action. Between 2009 and 2012, she was named Head of the Department of General Services and Special Events for the Colima City Council.

Leticia Delgado Carrillo was appointed as the new head of the General Administration and Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Health of Mexico City. She is the sister of the current Secretary of Public Education (SEP), Mario Delgado, and has studies in Computer Science and Applied Public Management.

The salary that Leticia Delgado will receive as an official of CDMX will be 72,235 pesos, which is lower than what she earned in her last position at ISSSTE. For his part, Mario Delgado, head of the Ministry of Public Education, receives a net salary of over 132,000 pesos.
