The mayor of Cuauhtémoc, Alessandra Rojo de la Vega, received death threats that included having her arms and legs cut off, and was informed that they had already located her. In response, Rojo de la Vega filed a complaint with the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City and the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) will handle the case from their intelligence agencies to identify those responsible for the threats.

The official stated that her administration will not allow the threats to deter her from her objectives, thanked the neighbors for raising their voices against insecurity in the municipality, and emphasized that it is crucial to guarantee justice within the legal framework. Rojo de la Vega assured that they will not hide the threats or the individuals who made them.

Regarding the security operations implemented by Alessandra Rojo de la Vega in Cuauhtémoc, several actions stand out. One of the key programs is "Cuauhtémoc builds peace," which aims to stop violence and extortion in the municipality. Measures include police proximity, the recovery of public space, the shielding of Cuauhtémoc, citizen participation, and situational prevention.

During her three-month term, 67 junk cars have been removed and 11 people have been arrested for littering in the public roadway. Additionally, 40 illegal bars have been closed, and arrests have been made of individuals collecting illegal fees for the use of public space. Alessandra Rojo de la Vega has highlighted the importance of respecting the law and emphasized that the arrests are made in response to citizen complaints.

Furthermore, 112 school security devices have been implemented with the goal of reinforcing the protection of the educational community with the return to classes.
