An Ecuadorian citizen identified as César Salazar Abudeye was detained in Mexico City (CDMX) after pushing another man down the stairs of Plaza Soledad, located in the Cuauhtémoc borough. Following a fight between the two, the victim, of Mexican origin, fell down the stairs and lost his life as a result of the incident.
The Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC) of CDMX received a report via radio frequency about an injured person in the shopping plaza, located in the Centro neighborhood. Once detained, the appropriate legal procedures were carried out. The victim was diagnosed as deceased due to blunt force trauma, and the area was cordoned off for the presence of forensic experts. The aggressor attempted to take refuge in a nearby establishment, where blood stains were identified, triggering a pursuit that ended with his arrest.
