Omar García Harfuch, Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection of the Government of Mexico, announced the detention of Roberto Salazar Toledo, alias "El Gordo Jr." or Roberto 'N', in Morelos. Roberto 'N' has an extradition order to the United States, where he faces charges for conspiracy in organized crime organizations and drug distribution such as cocaine, crack, methamphetamine, and heroin. The US Marshals Office offered a reward of 25 thousand dollars for his capture, as he was one of the most wanted criminals.

Regarding the detention, Harfuch mentioned that Roberto "N" is accused of the murder of a police assistant and violating the federal law of the United States against organized crime, RICO. The collaboration between the National Intelligence Center and the Security Cabinet was crucial for achieving the detention.

Moreover, the Government of Mexico has been actively working in the fight against drug trafficking, especially in the case of fentanyl. Recently, reports came about the detention of individuals involved in this crime, such as Aaron 'N' and Hong Thoa 'N', who were arrested in a joint operation in Puerto Vallarta.

During the detention of Roberto "N", four doses of marijuana and four doses of blue pills were found on him. Authorities located "N" in the Paraíso neighborhood of Cuernavaca, where an operation successfully led to his capture. He is considered dangerous, armed, and belonging to street gangs, being accused of murdering an officer in Los Angeles in 2008.

The detention operation was carried out by federal authorities, with the participation of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, the National Defense, the Navy, the Attorney General's Office of the Republic, and the National Guard. Roberto "N", 38 years old, was handed over to the Public Ministry to determine his legal situation. Harfuch also reported on the capture of Leonel "N", in Los Ángeles, Durango, identified as a leader of a criminal cell in the north of the country and wanted in Texas and Chihuahua.
