In the video, it is mentioned that the events occurred approximately two years earlier at the Tabachines Golf Club in Cuernavaca, in the residence shared by the couple. Although the video was known since February, it wasn't until now that it went viral in various groups, being shared by Rezende herself in a small WhatsApp group where she confided feeling in danger.

Despite attempts to contact her, Natalia Rezende has not made any public statements about the assaults she claims to have suffered, nor about the video she recorded and shared herself.

In a farewell post on her Facebook account corresponding to the last day of her husband's administration, Rezende thanked the families of Morelos for allowing her to be part of their lives while she presided over the DIF of the state.
