Authorities in Sinaloa are seeking information in the 'La Nicholette' case. Nicole Pardo, 20, was intercepted on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 20, as she was driving a lilac Tesla Cybertruck on Isla Musala Boulevard, near the intersection with San Esteban Street, at Plaza 11. According to reports and testimonies, a group of armed men in another vehicle forced her to stop and took her by force. Her disappearance garnered widespread attention on social media, as she is known for the luxury cars she flaunts and her businesses, and she was located alive four days later. Authorities reiterated the call to report incidents to 089 or dial 911 in case of an emergency. The operation involved elements of the Sinaloa Special Operations Group (GOES), in coordination with the Mexican Army, the National Guard, the Secretariat of the Navy, the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, the Attorney General of the Republic, and the Attorney General of the State of Sinaloa. The Sinaloa Public Security Secretariat reported the arrest of two men—one a minor—as the alleged kidnappers of influencer Nicole Pardo, known as 'La Nicholette' or 'La Muchacha del Salado'. The young woman was deprived of her liberty on January 20 in Culiacán and was located alive four days later, following intervention by the U.S. Consulate due to her U.S. citizenship. The arrest took place in the Los Ángeles sector, in the Sinaloan capital, after an anonymous call to 089 alerted authorities to the presence of armed civilians. According to the official version, upon arriving at the reported address, agents observed an armed man outside the property. Upon noticing the police presence, he entered the house but was followed and apprehended. At the scene, two AK-47 caliber 7.62×39 mm rifles, 12 magazines, and 2,000 pills of presumed fentanyl were secured. Both detainees and the seized items were turned over to the federal Public Ministry.
