
In Sinaloa, this Wednesday, Bryan 'N', known as 'El Wero Bryan', operator of Los Chapitos, and Eric 'N', who is accused of being the material author of the murder of Julio César Soto Meza, alias 'El Chuko' or 'Güero', which occurred in a shooting at plaza Carso in April 2023, were arrested. The detention of both individuals was carried out during a series of simultaneous searches conducted by the Security Cabinet in the municipalities of Culiacán, Mazatlán, and El Rosario.
The head of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), Omar García Harfuch, reported on these arrests, highlighting that in the operations, ten properties were secured. Additionally, 13 firearms were seized, including machine guns and two Barret .50 rifles, as well as ten vehicles, three of which were armored. Twelve grenades, a grenade launcher, drugs, and cartridges were also found during the actions carried out in these municipalities.
Regarding this operation, the Security Cabinet deployed in Sinaloa included the participation of various institutions such as the Secretariat of National Defense, the Secretariat of the Navy, the Attorney General's Office, the National Guard, and the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection.
