The Government of Guadalajara announced that in 2026 it will continue four social programs focused on entrepreneurship, financing, and training, with the aim of strengthening the local economy and job creation. Through the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Economic Promotion, the actions will be aimed at people who seek to start a business or strengthen existing projects, through economic support, advice, and training.
Financing programs for tapatíos Among the programs that will continue are "Hecho por Tapatías" and "Corazones en Acción", focused on providing financing to women entrepreneurs, with support of up to 200,000 pesos. "We are launching two financing programs that we worked on last year: Hecho por Tapatías and Corazones en Acción. These are programs that were very well received and thanks to that we will replicate them this year," they highlighted.
"Corazones en Acción" plans to benefit around 105 women with a budget of seven million pesos. For its part, "Hecho por Tapatías" will have a fund of six million pesos to support between 130 and 150 beneficiaries.
Training and skills development The "Creativa GDL" program, focused on the incubation and acceleration of projects in creative industries, as well as "Guadalajara Bilingüe", aimed at developing language skills to improve employability, will also continue. Authorities highlighted that with this work they seek to strengthen labor competitiveness and foster the development of productive projects.

"I would like you to know that we are looking to continue supporting the tapatíos so they can start or consolidate their business; we bring a lot of offer, networking, advice, workshops, and mentorships to strengthen their ventures," emphasized the official.
