In the midst of the global boom in regional Mexican music, the Elizalde dynasty is clear in its stance: respect the evolution without losing its essence. "Well, mainly we are going to one thing, new generations come and there are fashions, but traditional music has never gone out of style. My dad was the initiator of the Elizalde dynasty, the one who opened the door for us and one of the first to sing with a Sinaloense band, we are very proud of him. We always remember what they did, part of their legacy, but also what each of us has done as an artist, because we also have our own legacy, and that is very important to highlight," explained Francisco. Far from living in the shadow of their last name, the three defend their individual careers and the time each has invested in music. "We have more than 20 years of career, and thank God, from the first albums we made, we always placed a hit on each album," added Francisco. On stage, their differences become a strength. "El Chico has a different style from our voices. El Flaco has a very powerful voice, and I think I am also one of those who is similar, but El Chico gives us a variant, that helps us a lot and well, to make the complement," explained Joel. The show, they anticipate, will be a complete experience that will traverse different sounds of regional Mexican music. "Look, it's going to last three hours of show because two hours seemed too little to me. The Mexican regional music is preparing to live a special moment with the announcement of 'The Elizalde Dynasty Continues,' a tour that will for the first time bring together Francisco 'El Gallo' Elizalde, Joel Elizalde and Jesús 'El Flaco' Elizalde on the same stage, in a show that promises to be both a tribute to their roots and a statement of relevance in the new era of the genre. The tour will kick off on June 5, 2026, at the Arena Guadalajara, starting a series of presentations that seek to connect generations through the music that has marked the history of this family. Beyond the show, the reunion represents a key moment for the brothers, who for years have sought to make this project happen. "I think there are several dynasties in the musical medium right now, all over Mexico, but of the most consolidated, speaking to you familiarly, there is one, the Elizalde. We try to innovate," reflected Joel. Jesús complemented that vision from experience: "Also, I can tell you that music itself is beautiful... it's moments, it's eras like my era, my compadre's era, my dad's era, don Vicente's, don Antonio's, but we try for our style to prevail, for the music to continue to be liked by children because it's a legacy." "Respect for the audience is very important... they listen to us from the eldest in the house to the littlest one," added Francisco. Although it is their first formal tour together, the musical coexistence between them is not new. "Only in drunkenness, it's the first event, but yes, we have only coexisted in bohemias," they recalled among laughter. Finally, far from the stage, the three showed their most personal side when talking about virtues and flaws, showing that beyond the last name, what defines them is their humanity: nobility, affection, effort, but also character and imperfections that make them authentic. Thus, with history, identity, and a clear vision, the Elizalde dynasty not only celebrates its past, but also reaffirms its place in the present of a genre that continues to evolve without forgetting its roots.
The Elizalde Dynasty Continues: Brothers Unite on Stage
The Elizalde brothers — Francisco 'El Gallo', Joel, and Jesús 'El Flaco' — are uniting for the 'The Elizalde Dynasty Continues' tour. For the first time in years, they will share one stage to pay tribute to their legacy and showcase how their unique styles complement each other in the world of regional Mexican music.
