
The municipality of Guadalupe is preparing for the FIFA World Cup 2026 to be held in Nuevo León, Mexico. With 400 days left until the event starts, programs for Community Policing have been implemented to provide agents with the necessary tools to effectively prevent, address, and respond to situations, ensuring citizen safety.
The cadets have successfully completed their Initial Training for Community Police, acquiring knowledge in techniques and skills that will enable them to act efficiently. With a total of 167 graduates, including police and traffic elements, these new agents are ready to ensure safety during the World Cup. In a ceremony held at the BBVA Stadium, Governor Samuel García presented initial training certificates to the graduates.
The agents of Guadalupe are part of several divisions, including Community, Mounted, and Motorized units of the Municipal Police Development Institute. The governor highlighted the significant reduction in crime rates in Guadalupe over the past seven months, expressing confidence that, with the joint efforts of the agents, they can continue to reduce crimes to zero.
Guadalupe's preparation for the World Cup includes the protection and safeguarding of residents and tourists visiting the State during the event.
